1. About Us

Cakes by Special Events is a luxury cake and dessert studio operating as a brand of Special Events Dubai, a company registered and operating in the United Arab Emirates. By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

2. Our Services

We specialise in bespoke luxury cakes, dessert tables, and showpiece creations for weddings, birthdays, engagements, bridal events, baby welcoming celebrations, corporate events, and themed occasions. All creations are made to order and customised to your specifications. We do not offer ready-made or off-the-shelf products.

3. Enquiries & Quotes

Submitting an enquiry through our website or WhatsApp does not constitute a confirmed order. All orders are subject to availability and must be confirmed in writing by our team. A formal quote will be provided based on your requirements, and an order is only confirmed upon receipt of a deposit as agreed with our team.

4. Deposits & Payment

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your order date and commence design work. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due in full before delivery or collection of your order, as agreed in writing. We reserve the right to withhold delivery until full payment is received.

5. Cancellations & Changes

Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event date may be eligible for a partial refund at our discretion, excluding the non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date are non-refundable. Design changes requested after the order has been confirmed are subject to availability and may incur additional charges. We reserve the right to decline changes that are not feasible within the production timeline.

6. Delivery & Collection

Delivery within Dubai is available and any associated fees will be communicated at the time of booking. We take every precaution to deliver your order in perfect condition. Once a cake has been delivered and accepted, or collected from our studio, responsibility for its condition passes to the client. We strongly recommend refrigerating perishable items and following any care instructions provided by our team.

7. Allergens & Dietary Requirements

Our products are made in a kitchen that handles nuts, dairy, eggs, gluten, and other common allergens. While we will endeavour to accommodate dietary requirements where possible, we cannot guarantee that our products are free from traces of allergens. It is the client's responsibility to inform us of any allergies at the time of ordering and to inform guests accordingly. We accept no liability for allergic reactions.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, photographs, and creative work produced by Cakes by Special Events and Special Events Dubai remain our intellectual property. We reserve the right to photograph and share images of all creations on our website and social media channels, unless you have explicitly requested otherwise in writing. Client-provided designs, logos, or brand materials are used solely to fulfil your order and remain the property of the respective rights holder.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Special Events Dubai and Cakes by Special Events shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability in any matter shall not exceed the amount paid by the client for the relevant order.

10. Website Use

This website is provided for informational purposes. We make every effort to ensure content is accurate and up to date, but we do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the website at any time without notice.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service at any time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
